Ephrata National Bank announces the addition of a new Urban Lending Team, made up of Hakim Singleton, Stacy Carcel, and Michael Cook. The team aims to serve the residents of local cities by helping them to achieve their goals of homeownership.

Singleton joins the team as VP, Urban Market Lending Officer. In this role, he will oversee the development and execution of the bank’s growth strategies within urban markets, taking a focus on managing sales, lending, and business development activities with an emphasis on activities within low- to moderate-income communities. A distinguished leader in mortgage origination, Singleton brings over a decade of experience in real estate investing, mortgage planning, and acquisition strategies, having built a portfolio exceeding $1 million and consistently ranking among the top producers in the industry. Additionally, he is the co-founder of K&S Flips, a real estate investment company, and hosts the podcast “Dream, Believe, Succeed.”

Cook joins ENB’s Urban Lending Team as a Mortgage Expert and Loan Officer. Carcel takes on the role of Mortgage Relationship Specialist, where she will provide diversified and proactive support to the process of originating residential mortgage loans. She will provide direct sales support, communication, and coordination to the Urban Lending Team and lead the loan workflow process. Carcel has eight years of experience in the mortgage industry, over which she has supported loan officers in a variety of capacities including preparing loan packages and communicating with clients and underwriters to create a smooth and efficient process. She has a deep understanding of the loan process and aims to make it stress-free for the client.
