Checking Overdraft Protection

Ephrata National Bank gives you two options whenever extra money is needed to cover checking shortfalls. Both are a great way to provide peace of mind and avoid costly overdraft fees**.

Bonus Checking Overdraft Protection

This is available for any ENB personal checking account. It delivers peace of mind when you don’t have sufficient available funds in your checking account to cover a transaction. It’s simple to set up – just link your checking to an ENB savings account*. If you overdraw the available funds, money is automatically transferred from your savings to cover the difference**.

Unsecured Personal Line of Credit

If you don’t want to transfer money from a savings account to cover an overdraft, we can set you up with an unsecured line of credit. We’ll establish an available credit limit and tie it to your ENB checking account to prevent overdrafts. With no fixed maturity date and a variable interest rate, you can easily access and transfer funds by check, online, phone, or in person. Get a .50% discount with automatic payment from an ENB checking account.
